cracking station
Contains an infeed conveyor that feeds the claws to the crackers. The cracked claws is then fed to another conveyor ready to get shuck.
butchering station
Has an infeed conveyor bringing the whole lobster to the butchers, while having 3 outfeed conveyors to deliver the claws, bodies and tails back to its next process.
spider-leg cutting
A higher productivity method for cutting legs of lobster (as opposed to scissors). Simply placing the lobster legs it its slots, and pushing a button to activate two blades, separating bodies and legs in two different conveyors.
Scoring table
Equipped with stations that scores the claws with a spinning blade, guided by teflon shaped to cut an incision in the claw.
shucking table
Has stations on both sides. The meat w/ shells comes to the shuckers via conveyor belt, and conveyors rid of the shell through holes on the work table, while another belt conveys the buckets of good meat to the next process.
wringer
An efficient way to extract the meat out of the small legs of the lobster. Two rollers squeeze out the meat and the shell then gets exhausted through a stream of water, ultimately joining all the shells into one bucket.
shell extractor
A new system to exhaust all the shells outside of the factory, unto a truck. Equipped with a specialty crusher that will crush the shell extremely small so it can compactly fit more into a dump truck, saving delivery trips to the dumpster.
purging tank
Generates bubbles in the water as the tails go from one end to the other through a metal or plastic (options left to the customer). This helps clean tail as it stirs in the water, making it easier to the suck the vein from it.
tub dumper
Accepting an assortment of large pallet-size bins, it automatically unloads the content of the bin onto a hopper or conveyor.
batch cooker
Cooks the lobster uniformly, in batches, having a worker put it in the boiling water, and taking it out once it reaches its set timer.
continuous cooker
Conveys the lobster through boiling water at just the right speed that it ends up cooked once it reaches the end. This saves time and no need to have a worker displace the lobster by hand.
double glazing conveyor
To improve the look of the lobster, giving it a nice shiny ice shell, this conveys the lobster into water, then conveys it back into cold air, creating an nice finish. It does this process twice, to create an even nicer finish.
VIBRATING CONVEYOR
Vibrates an perforated sheet, allowing only the water to go through so the blood can be collected at the end of the line.
